Community Sports Hub - updates

Stonehaven Community Sports Hub has just started WALKING FOOTBALL sessions. They are open to anyone over the age of 50, and they are FREE!  Sessions take place on the old bowling green at the recreation grounds, and you can find more details on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/stonehavencsh

Meanwhile, the leisure centre upgrade continues to be controversial.  Jackie Bruce, vice chairwoman of Stonehaven Community Sports Hub, said she through the process needed to be stopped and a review carried out. 

The proposed review may be a topic of conversation of the Stonehaven & Portlethen Community Sport HubAGM, which is this Thursday at 6pm via MS Teams.  You can get a link to join by emailing Gregory.welsh@aberdeenshire.gov.uk.

They are  on the look out for more volunteers to drive forward projects and initiatives. No need to be sporty to get involved just be keen to support local sport clubs/groups.
