The money raised every year by the Happening, held in a purpose-built marquee Stonehaven's Baird Park, also puts a smile on the faces of the charities who will benefit.

The Cycling Sportive runs alongside the Happening with three routes – 52 miles, 70 and 100, all taking in the daunting Cairn o’ Mount.
