The Midsummer Beer Happening 2026 arrives this week and you wouldn’t believe how much work goes into it.  Sponsors, partners and local businesses all help to make the festival possible.  It is going to make you hoppy. And happy!

Great Craft Beers

They will have over 150 beers and ciders to choose from. Produced by some of the UK’s finest brewers. From zingy, fruity ciders to dark stout and everything in between.

Live Music

With live music throughout the day, they have a variety of local talent lined up to keep you entertained, and when the sun sets, it’s time to put on your dancing shoes and let your hair down.

Artisan Street Food

Sorry they don’t do ordinary, so they have assembled some of the finest local purveyors of street food. Fresh wood fired pizza, Spanish bocadillos and empanadas, award winning Fish ‘n’ Chips and the famous Giulianotti ice cream and more!

Sportive

Starting and finishing in Stonehaven’s Baird Park, home of the Midsummer Beer Happening, there are four different cycle routes to accommodate all abilities of rider whilst providing all with a rewarding challenge.  Sunday’s MSBH Sportive has become a huge social day out for many.

And that isn’t all…

Not only are you going to have a great time but you will also be helping charities and good causes in and around Stonehaven. More than £50,000 is usually disbursed between about 20 local organisations who support all aspects of life in the town, from helping young people to caring for the elderly.In past years, Stonehaven Fireballs, Stonehaven Sea Cadets and Friends of Kincardine Community Hospital are among those who have received thousands of pounds. Let’s drink to that!!!
